Shrimp and Scallops

Ingredients  
1 medium onion
4 stalks of celery
1 medium tomato
1/2 lb of fresh or frozen shelled shrimp
1/2 Ib of fresh or frozen scallops
1 large skillet (preferably non stick)
2 teaspoons of Fish Seasoning
1 teaspoon of Salt, Lemon & Chili
1 tablespoon of oil or juice (If you use oil, we suggest olive oil, if you use juice, use orange)

 

Instructions

     
  1. Chop up the onion into small pieces. Set aside. Clean and chop the celery stocks into small 1/2 inch pieces and set aside. Wash the tomato and chop into small 1/2 inch pieces or cubes and set aside
  2. If the shrimp is frozen, rinse in cool water and then remove the shell and clean the back of the shrimp using a small knife and rinsing each shrimp under fresh cool water. If the shrimp is fresh, simply peel and clean. Set shrimp aside.
  3. If the scallops are frozen, thaw in fresh, clean water and set aside. If the scallops are fresh, simply rinse and set aside.
  4. Place the skillet over medium heat. Place oil or juice. Place the chopped onion, celery and tomato over the oil or juice and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle the Fish Seasoning and Salt, Lemon & Chili over the onion, celery and tomato mixture and mix/stir really well.
  5. Add the shrimp and scallops and mix really well. Cook 5 more minutes or until shrimp and scallops are cooked to desired texture. Serve.

*Suggestion, serve over Spanish Rice for a delicious rice and seafood dish
